Internet advertising sensation kicks off with 365 Corporation

Carat opts for teomedia

Teomedia, the new internet advertising medium, is celebrating Carat Interactive’s decision to use its technology as part of NTL’s broadband internet advertising drive. The campaign went live at the beginning of July and will be running until the end of the month. In a bid to reach the UK’s online games community, it utilises leading digital media and communications company 365 Corporation Plc’s (365) network of sites.

Teomedia is a new addition to the online marketplace and is tipped by many to steal a march on other internet advertising methods due to its simplicity and power. The campaign for NTL was arranged via leading online media buying agency, Carat Interactive.

Richard Pembroke, managing director, 365’s internet services, is convinced that teomedia technology will come to play a fundamental role in the make up of the internet advertising marketplace: “I am delighted that 365 is the first media owner to commit to using the teomedia concept. It is intuitive, simple and adds another dimension to any site. Yet again, it goes to show the determination of 365 to offer the highest quality websites for the benefit of both the consumer and the advertiser.”

James Harris, director of Carat Interactive, noted of the new kid on the UK internet marketing block: “The teomedia product is one of the most exciting online marketing concepts that we have seen in the UK for some time and we are sure that the NTL deal will be the first of many.”

Santosh Limaye, chairman of teomedia, is thrilled with news of the deal and commented: “NTL, 365 Corporation and Carat are three impeccable brand names in the UK and ones we are proud to be associated with.”

He concluded: “Through their vision and imagination, they were all able to see the potential of the product and their adoption of it is great news for us.”
