London, UK - 17 May 2002 – ITJobPlanet.com has been chosen as the sole European job board for the upcoming international event IT Career Week 2002, providing the event with European jobs, while Dice will be providing vacancies in the US.
ITJobPlanet also looks set to develop a long-term partnership with the organizer SmartCertify Direct (a SmartForce Company).
The event brings together leading Information Technology (IT) magazines and web sites from all over the world, and is devoted to providing IT professionals with vital career, certification and training information. IT Career Week 2002 will run from June 17 - 24, and will be held entirely on-line at www.ITCareerWeek.com , where IT professionals can pre-register for the event starting 17 May.
During the event, IT professionals can apply for open IT positions, send CVs to hiring companies, subscribe to industry publications and receive news and technical information on the latest trends in the industry. A highly attractive feature of the event will be the chance for IT professionals to try certification training courses for free, including courses for Microsoft, A+, Linux, CIW and Cisco software.
