HoudahGeo 2.3 released - Improves iPhoto'09 Geocoding. German Localization

Pressbox (Press Release) - Luxembourg - Houdah Software is pleased to announce the immediate availability of HoudahGeo 2.3: the premiere photo geocoding solution for the Mac. HoudahGeo 2.3 allows for geocoding photos hosted in an iPhoto library and notify iPhoto'09 about new geotags. Version 2.2 also brings full support for viewing direction.

HoudahGeo 2.3 tightens the integration with Apple's iPhoto photo management application. Upon exporting geotags, HoudahGeo 2.3 may notify iPhoto'09 so that it can update its Places database. HoudahGeo brings GPS enabled geocoding and Google Earth geocoding to iPhoto.

Further enhancements brought along by HoudahGeo 2.3 include:

* New feature: Viewing Direction
HoudahGeo 2.3 fully supports viewing directions. Direction is set either from a compas enabled GPS or entered manually. Values are exported to geotags and uploaded to Flickr and Locr. Viewing direction may also be visualized in Google Earth.

* New feature: German Localization
HoudahGeo 2.3 is now available in German.

* Enhancement: Help Book
The HoudahGeo Help Book has been reworked and udpated.

* Enhancement: Coordinate Formatter
HoudahGeo 2.3 displays coordinates in decimal degree, yet allows for input in many other formats.

* Enhancement: Altitude Formatter
HoudahGeo 2.3 displays altitude in meters abvove see level, yet allows for input in feet.

* Enhancement: User Interface
HoudahGeo 2.3 brings a refreshed user interface.
