German-Indian collaboration in IT service management

IT service provider Beck et al. Services selects the “SNAPPiMON” Infrastructure Intelligence tool from NetSol
Munich 17.8.05: The IT Service provider Beck et al. Services has entered into an agreement with Networks Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (“NetSol”) from India. Beck et al. Services has selected the ITIL-centric IT Services Management Tool SNAPPiMON. NetSol is a leading Indian business in the Enterprise convergence area with presence in Europe, US and Middle East. SNAPPiMON simplifies performance monitoring and availability-checking of IT-infrastructures (systems, network components, applications, databases etc.). Featuring automated reporting, it significantly increases insight and visibility of the IT-infrastructure and thus enables a higher level of availability and performance.
The infrastructure intelligence provided helps Beck et al. in its role of IT-Service Provider. IT outage reduction, pro-active IT-infrastructure monitoring and ease of implementation are key advantages. “One value-add we can see immediately: SNAPPiMON saves us lots of time. When are the hard disks full? How are the servers and databases performing? These are aspects of our business that are now easier to check. And even more important: We can proactively react to possible failures” said Gerry Wallner, Senior Consultant and ITIL specialist at Beck et al. Services. “NetSol approached us because we offer high-value services in the implementation of IT-solutions, manage complex IT infrastructures, carry out ITIL-training for our customers, and are support-specialists. The installation of SNAPPiMON at Beck et al. Services was rapid. “We were able to map SNAPPiMON to our Infrastructure in short period of time” happily noted Beck et al.
