Bigger is Better thats what it looks like for Bigpockets.co.uk
Online blank media supplier www.bigpockets.co.uk have increased their market
share with the acquisition of rival company Disc Express, in a merger
predicted to further secure the Bigpockets brand as one of Europe’s leading
blank media suppliers. Bigpockets are recognised as market leaders in the
online sale of Blank CD's, DVD's, PC's and Laptops, and the move for Disc
Express is expected to enhance the company's brand further.
Bigpockets Managing Director said
"This is an exciting time for us, more and more people are purchasing online
and by bringing Disc Express under the Bigpockets banner we will be able to
offer even more products at great prices to customers both new and old"
We have so far been unable to reach the Managing Director of Disc Express for a comment.
So what does this mean for you? Well, both companies combined will give them a lot more buying power and control over prices with their suppliers and if they follow the same traditions that they have used over the years it is very likely that those savings will get passed straight onto their customers increasing their loyal customer base.
Only time will tell if this merger is going to prove to be a good thing but I for one am looking forward to the many great deals that this merger should provide.
