The program makes hiding data pretty straight forward. Just run Folder Castle from the Windows Start menu or you can access its functions from Windows Explorer that has a toolbar, added upon installation by default or through the right-click menu of a file. The latter way is the simplest because you only need to browse to the file you want to hide, right click on its icon, choose Hide option and that's it. The file goes invisible. If the time comes up when you need to unlock the file, you can do this from the right click menu by selecting Unlock All and entering the password that you've set up the first time you ran the program. That's pretty much it.
Folder Castle comes with a default configuration but you can set it to work your own way: change a password, enable or disable Stealth mode or display of the toolbar in Windows Explorer.
