Access local USB devices in remote Windows session with USB for Remote Desktop 1.1!

Update: The program engine is significantly improved. Stability improvements are implemented for some specific USB devices. Devices with serial numbers are handled more correctly.

FabulaTech presented the USB Over RDP new version 1.1 in which have implemented all users’ suggestions and feature wishes.

“USB for Remote Desktop allows to work with your local USB devices from remote Windows session” says Shawn Preston, FabulaTech chief software architect. “It supports a wide range of USB devices and does not require any special knowledge and installs easily right out of the box”.

“The program consists of a Server and a Workstation” said Teo Heil, one of the USB for Remote Desktop developers. “You should install the Workstation on the computer to which the USB device is physically connected. Server side should be installed on the remote server from which you need to access your devices”.


FabulaTech has implemented all possible requirements:
-Unlimited USB devices can be redirected from workstation;
-Unlimited USB devices can be connected to server, wide variety of USB devices is supported;
-RDP protocol support;
-Auto-redirection of USB devices;
-Auto-redirection exclude list;
-USB devices safe removal is supported;
-User-friendly program interface, hot USB devices sharing/unsharing (without computer reboot), USB devices redirection from your application directly using dynamic link library (OEM license) and much more!

USB for Remote Desktop functionality can be easily integrated into one’s own application. So one can share USB devices or connect them up from the application directly.
