Edinburgh of new from the old. Instruments of harmony through the good ole glen
Come forth, come Clyde, come beautiful, come water heaven and fire- that’s Edinburgh here and now
From the streamline of a sailing ship to the Jets stream of a battleship the beauty of Edinburgh is aghast of joy
In the olden days of the lord when ships of beaut sailed along its magical coast it’s not possible to pass by without a gasp and shout and a Grande hooray
The place seems to natural it seems to quiet but on top of the mountain al is revealed in a clatter and patter of fun; with streets and alleys and a coastline so dainty it is no wonder many a wanderer pass by on saintly ground in splendour and awe.
From London to Edinburgh some 400 miles along motorway up through the hills and valleys of green pastures and down to the bay
For once isn’t enough nor twice neither thrice but again and again to the land of no return. Make Edinburgh a part of me in and out down and out shake it all about
No-where or not in the circle around the castle perched on a hill stretched forth with the might of thunder and lightening and might.
No where is too fit or tidy for Edinburgh a pleasant ride in the country along near the coast and up the road of make belief?
So that’s the easy part inside the majestic city of good it’s off up the hill to find our place in a land of lochs and glens and haggis through and through.
Of land of Scottish beauty and mystic setting in Edinburgh and you will find your way up yonder up on the hill or down in the sleepy valley
Take me in a carriage of fine satin and gold encrusted full of diamonds and emeralds and my hand on the king’s throne.
