When the tide turned in my favour-
The tide of the great silent sea from the northern hemisphere one sullen night turned her head in my direction and turned around my fortunes like a sudden flash of a pan
So much toil and spoil and sweat up to ill of age so much sweat and lack of fortune but fate didn’t turn my way not on a rough or on sea dead as a doornail.
It’s too good to be true-
My favour turned into delight after 40 years of nothing but bad luck nothing but being at the wrong place at the wrong time- every time and at every hour with the moon, sun and stars.
The tide carried me over the precipice to the right stoke of the watery tale to my destiny- unlike so many writers whose work of expertise was ignored mine wasn’t-
So you Danny Teller have been published and edited and proven multiskilled but yet your writing is unlike anything we have come across- it’s out of this world yes Mr. Danny- incredible infallible- delectable-
Well so I heaved too and fro back and forth, inhale and exhale, not knowing to hold my breathen much longer- but a leap in the air- sigh of relief –
People came to my feet to pay homage- my Lord my wordship- forgive all that came to pass- and not I can sleep well at night with Danny and Co at my side- sleeping on a watery bed of ripples and silent gains- oh life begins at 40 does it not- no it begins from the moment of conception- and ends until the day I die.
