IMMEDIATE RELEASE

THERMAL INSTABILITY CAUSED TORNADO

8.12.06 Virginia Water, Surrey

At 11 am yesterday morning a tornado formed in a squall line crossing London. Residents of the north London suburb of Kensal Rise thought it was a low flying aircraft overhead the noise was so loud. Six people were taken to hospital with injuries from the flying debris as the tornado took the tiles off roofs and smashed in dozens of windows and demolished the entire wall of one house.

GWA aviation spokesman Donald Burfitt-Dons said, ‘although tornados have become quite frequent in the UK they’re normally a summer weather phenomenon. That one of such intensity should occur in December is further evidence of thermal instability in the atmosphere, and is likely linked to climate change caused by global warming.’ Read more on this subject : www.globalwarmingalliance.com
