Journey Philippines Visitors’ Guide cited for marketing excellence

QUEZON CITY— Journey Philippines Visitors’ Guide is now distinctly positioning itself as a quality information delivery vehicle for promoting Philippine tourism when it was named as recipient of the Philippine Marketing Excellence Awards (PMEA) as an “Outstanding Travel Guide Magazine, national awards category this year.
The PMEA is an annual project of the Philippine Marketing Excellence Institute, Asian Institute of Marketing and Entrpreneurship and Sales & Marketing Magazine, prime advocates for the continuing development of the marketing profession in the country.
PMEA awardees are chosen by consumers and marketing professionals for best marketing practices through a combination of surveys, focus group discussions, and market research. The criteria to determine the awardees include customer service orientation, product/service quality, value pricing, likability and goodwill, truthfulness in advertising, customer confidence, market awareness, and innovative marketing practices.
Journey Philippines Visitors was also cited by the National Consumer Affairs Foundation as “The Most Promising Travel Magazine” , twice as “Outstanding Travel Guide Publication” by the Asia Pacific Excellence Awards, “Top Travel Guide Publication” by the People’s Choice Awards, “Best Travel Guide Magazine” by the Products and Services Excellence Award, “No.1 Travel Guide Magazine” by the National Shopper’s Choice Award.
