G-site Web to Help - Heart Strings - Long Beach Break Guinness Kite Flying World Record!

LONG BEACH, CA., October 6, 2004 - G-site Web, a Long Beach company providing web development, web content and Internet solutions, is proud to announce its partnership with "Heart Strings," a Long Beach extravaganza organized to increase awareness of heart disease, especially pediatric heart disease.
"Heart Strings" is the brainchild of ABC/Disney account executive and Long Beach resident, Mike Rivard, who is himself the survivor of the very first open heart surgery performed in Long Beach, California at St. Mary's Hospital.
Working in conjunction with the 3rd Annual Camp del Corazon Family Festival, held on the beach in Long Beach, the "Heart Strings" event will involve breaking the Guinness World Record for "Most kites flown at one time."
G-site Web and its subsidiary, LongBeachOnLine.net is providing online services and web promotions in an effort to gather local support and rally community involvement in this world record attempt. The record-breaking event will require around 1,000 people flying kites.
It will take place on October 23, 2004 at Marina Green Park, Long Beach California.
Registration will begin at 10:30am.
Kites will launch at 12 noon.
The event will last approximately 1.5 hours.
