Coactive Training – the stress free approach to financial operations training
Added: (Sat Oct 22 2005)
Pressbox (Press Release) -
Well-known training company, CVCT, is re-launching in November 2005 with a new name – Coactive Training Ltd – with the same determination to provide exceptional training, delivered with true passion, to address the needs of operational staff in the financial services industry.
The launch is being celebrated with a special invitation-only event in London where guests will have a chance to find out just how much Coactive really care about taking some of the stresses of training and management from your shoulders…a head and shoulder massage will be offered to everyone during the evening as well as the chance to meet the directors, Clare Venters, Kate Lewis and Simon Bygrave. If you would like to attend, please contact Coactive Training on info@coactivetraining.com.
Director Clare Venters explains: “We already have a fantastic track-record of really making a difference within organisations and our new structure will let us build on that success whilst continuing to specialise in operations training.
“All of our training is designed to have a genuine bottom-line impact on the organisation and we can help managers achieve real savings on their operations budgets. We worked with one company that saved over $1,000,000 when we got their new operations staff fully trained in just 3 months instead of the usual 6-9 months. It is intense – but it works! We can get people up to speed very quickly.”
Coactive Training provides customised courses specialising in derivative operations and have recently found that there are two key areas their clients are requesting they focus on.
Over the last couple of years the increase in trading of credit derivatives (notional values doubled in the last year to $12,000bn) has created extraordinary pressures on investment bank operations. Now that The Federal Reserve Bank has declared that they intend to work with the Financial Services Authority to review the credit derivatives markets, investment banks are under regulatory scrutiny as well as facing increasing pressure to reduce processing costs to remain competitive. Coactive Training works with companies, whether they are global investment banks or small, bespoke finance houses, to improve the performance of existing staff and speedily integrate new recruits. This enables teams to deliver the necessary processes efficiently and in a controlled manner.
One manager who attended Coactive training said “In my 14 years of work life or 5 years of learning at masters / management degrees, I have never come across any trainer or training sessions so methodical or so meticulously prepared. The extent of care taken to ensure that the most is made out of every second spent on the session was simply amazing”
The other highly topical field in which Coactive Training specialise, is in providing the training needed to make Global migration work as smoothly as possible. Coactive can work at the client’s location to integrate staff and to ensure that they have the knowledge and skills to provide the operational services required, while assimilating the culture of mainly western dominated banks. This is a key part of any migration, and Coactive offer ongoing planning, delivery and management of the entire training process.
For example, a team in London or New York may have large amounts of experience and knowledge but not the necessary training skills to develop a new team half-way across the world, and possibly not the time or motivation. Coactive Training works with clients to capture all of this experience and knowledge and ensure it is smoothly transferred.
