SMARTBUILD COMPANY POLICY

In dealing with kitchen replacement, building maintenance and general repairs our policy is as follows:

� Always advise clients of full costs in advance and adhere to these
� Carry out all works to a high standard and more importantly to the clients satisfaction
� Guarantee all work for not less than 12 months other than normal wear & tear
� Make every effort to avoid disruption and administer these duties in a reasonable and speedy manner
� Seek the advice of the Borough Surveyor or CORGI Customer Services Area Manager where any reasonable doubt may exist on how to proceed

PAYMENT IN ADVANCE

In general circumstances payment of full cost of materials and 25% of the cost of Labour (inclusive of VAT and skip hire and other disbursements) must be made in advance of commencement of works except the following:

� Exceptional cases where smartBuild agrees to carry out a repair where there is a health and safety issue
� Occasional services such as the supply and fitting of additional facilities such as extra entry phones and barrier gate keys
� Out of hours emergency work


EMERGENCY OUT OF HOURS CALL OUTS

The emergency out of hours policy is to strictly carry out emergency works and refuse to do any normal everyday chargeable works. The only exception is where the works are necessary for health and safety reasons.

Where an out of hours contractor is called please note that the minimum out of hours call out charge of �80 will be levied.
