Underground Footwear Inks Footwear Licensing Agreement With Johnny Blaze

Los Angeles – May 24, 2002 – Underground Footwear has entered into a licensing deal with Johnny Blaze Apparel to produce a complete collection of Johnny Blaze men’s footwear.
This debut collection will be shown at the WSA Show and Magic in Las Vegas, NV in August 2002 and will be at retail by the Winter 2002. Eventually the line will be completed with women and children’s shoes. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
“This is an exciting time for both Underground and Johnny Blaze,” stated Damian Ceeza, Marketing Director of Underground. “Larry Zimmer, President of Johnny Blaze, and his team have trusted in us. This is just the beginning of something very good for all parties involved.”
“Footwear is so diverse now, and this relates with the lifestyle approach that we are taking,” added Ceeza. “This collection of footwear will complement the concepts of the apparel collections. From classic to casual athletic, the footwear will capture the Johnny Blaze lifestyle concept. We feel that this collection will have something for everyone. Johnny Blaze has great brand recognition, we feel like the footwear collection will utilize that recognition and do well.”
