UK Travellers Bask in Middle Eastern Delights - Northern Counties Travel Insurance News

The National Statistics Office have recently announced that Europe is by far the most popular destination for UK residents when going on holiday with 80% of all visitors going to a European destination.
And whilst Spain (13.8 million visits) and France (11.6 million) remain head and shoulders above the rest of the World when it came to visits from UK holidaymakers it appears us Brits are also looking further a field for our holidays.
According to the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA) since the beginning of 2005 there has been:
A 54% increase in UK visitors to Egypt
A 27% increase in UK visitors to Turkey
A 25% increase in UK visitors to Morocco
