Small Business Marketing Help in a Tough Economy

In this tough economy, small businesses need to market better. Frank Jones suggest implementing simple Marketing methods to counter the economic downturn.

Today's challenging economic times is putting the squeeze on many small businesses. "But there is a solution," says Frank Jones, a small business marketing coach. "By implementing some simple proven strategies, small businesses can hold there on- and even do better than before the economy got worse, Jones said.

"The problem with most businesses," Jones continued, "is they cut back on their marketing during hard economic times which is dead wrong," Jones said. "An effective cure for a bad economy is to focus more on marketing," he said. "And the interesting part about all this is that there are many marketing actions that can be taken to improve sales and profits that cost little to no money."

"One simple example of an approach to better marketing is to simply ask customers at the time they make a purchase if they would be interested in buying a related item to what they are purchasing. This costs no money and can increase the average dollar size of a transaction," Jones pointed out.

We asked Jones how a small business can learn about low cost ways to improve their marketing. He responded by saying "this information can be obtained from a variety of sources, but one of the best sources I am aware of is a low cost online membership site called The Small Business Growth Club. For only thirty bucks a month, you can get access to step by step training and instructions on how to market better. The site is owned by Scott Hallman, a small business growth expert who has helped hundreds of busineses throughout America increase their sales and profits."

"Bottom line," Jones said, "now is the time to market your business.Just employ some simple marketing tactics and watch your sales and profits grow!
