14 August 2002: Continuing building success with Scala’s Collaborative ERP solution in key market.
Scala Business Solution today announces the appointment of Thomas Debusmann as the new Managing Director for Scala in Germany. Debusmann will take operational responsibility of Scala’s subsidiary in Germany, which is part of Scala’s Northern Europe region, and continue building on the success the company has had providing Scala’s Collaborative ERP software to international companies that are headquartered in Germany.
Debusmann, 38, replaces Wolfgang Fechner who left Scala to be Managing Director for ISE-DATA, a German IT consultancy.
With over 20 years’ experience in the IT industry, Debusmann joins Scala from Orchestream Plc in London where he was Director of Sales for Central Europe. Before joining Orchestream he held roles in general management, sales, and consulting for both international and German companies such as Dazel Deutschland GmbH and BMC Software GmbH, both in Frankfurt.
“My prime focus is to continue to build on Scala’s success in Germany and the German-speaking part of Switzerland,” says Debusmann. “Scala is in a strong position to provide customers with Collaborative ERP solutions that meet the needs of global businesses today. We have a great opportunity to continue to build relationships with international companies that are headquartered in Germany but needs a Collaborative ERP solution for their small- and medium-sized subsidiaries worldwide.
With Scala, global companies can fully integrate all their ERP systems anywhere in the world, thus making global business simple.”
Björn Andersson, Scala’s Senior Vice President Operations for the Northern Europe region, comments that Debusmann’s wide experience in the IT industry and especially in international sales will be invaluable to the company. “Germany is one of our key markets and I am confident that Thomas will add substantial value to our operations and our regional management team. I wish him every success in his new role.”
