Prepared Meals Revolutionizing Take-Out

Added: (Sun Jan 08 2006)

Pressbox (Press Release) - A new wave of prepared meals is changing how people order and enjoy take-out food.

With the opening and overwhelming success of Half Baked, Inc. in Winchester, Massachusetts, the traditional take-out world of burgers and fries is being challenged. Instead of stale pizza or heating lamp chicken people may order homemade meals prepared from scratch to be warmed in the oven at home.

Half Baked, Inc. was originally located in New Hampshire in the 1980's, but was re-opened by the father and daughter team of Stephanie and Steve Picardo in Winchester at the end of 2005. With the help of the original owners, the company was re-created in much the same manner as the previous business. The shop focuses on providing hearty meals that people would like to make if they had time in their busy schedules. With this service, people have a homemade meal on the table in minutes without shopping or slaving over the stove. See http://www.preparedmeals4.com/articles/prepared-meals.html for more information on prepared meals.

Dishes such as chicken pot pies, lasagna, fish dishes, and several salads and breads are available through Half Baked. With the success of this convenient and efficient source of home-cooked meals, it is expected that similar restaurants may begin to appear in other parts of the country.

After graduating with a degree in history, Stephanie Picardo and her father decided to pursue a long dream of re-opening the beloved shop they enjoyed for years prior to the closing by the original owners. Steve Picardo left a career in banking to help his daughter open and run the business. With a growing fan-base, it would appear people have been waiting for a business to meet the expanding needs of prepared meals that are nutritious and tasty. Half Baked, Inc. seems to meet those needs for people all over the Boston area.
