PHARMIWEB LAUNCH IN PHARMIWEB IRELAND
The leading B2B portal for the pharmaceutical and life science sectors - PharmiWeb, (www.pharmiweb.com) - today announces the extension of the successful PharmiWeb formula for the burgeoning life sciences industry in Ireland. PharmiWeb Ireland (www.PharmiWeb.com/ireland) will enable companies to leverage the cost-advantages of Internet enabled services and the efficiencies of PharmiWeb’s jobs database to solve the recruitment problems currently hampering a rapid growth of the industry in the Republic.
PharmiWeb are moving into the Irish pharmaceutical market in a bid to answer the demands of this sector. In the past three years the number of people employed in the pharmaceutical industry in Ireland has risen by more than 40%. The sector now accounts for over 16% of total exports from the Republic. With rapid growth in the sector since the late sixties, Ireland has seen a new demand for quality support for Pharma industry professionals.
The extension to the existing PharmiWeb site will provide users with Ireland specific content. Featured on the site are:
· News feeds updated throughout the day, on topics such as drug development
· The latest business stories from the sector and information about the latest events in the UK and mainland Europe
· An extensive database of job vacancies within the Pharma and life science sectors is also available. The user simply needs to complete the free registration to gain access to job vacancies in the UK and Europe. PharmiWeb sends an e-mail notification when jobs, in line with the users skills and qualifications, arise enabling the passive job seeker to be aware of market vacancies.
In addition to the industry specific information available from PharmiWeb users can get information on anything from entertainment, estate agents and relocation services through to the education system and taxation in Ireland, providing expatriates and those looking to move into the Irish Pharma sector with invaluable resources.
PharmiWeb Ireland brings a superior level of web-based services to the Irish industry. The strategy is to provide Internet enabled services that help life sciences individuals and corporations work more effectively. Embodied in PharmiWebł - e-Business Services – is a sophisticated way of bringing efficiency and cost savings to corporate buying and selling processes, and improving trading relationships.
