New Jobsite nominated for this year's independant E-Commerce Awards

Added: (Mon Jul 21 2003)

Pressbox (Press Release) - JobJobbed.com, the up and coming online recruitment website has been nominated for several awards in the annual 2003 E-Commerce Awards sponsored by Royal Bank of Scotland, BT and Cisco Systems.

The 2003 National E-Commerce Awards are run by UK Online for Business, a partnership between Industry and Government which promotes the use of information and communication technologies for small companies, and by Interforum, a not for profit membership organisation that helps British businesses to trade electronically.

Already highly rated in the independently published Top 100 Online Recruitment websites report for 2003, JobJobbed.com’s popularity with its corporate customers, professional recruiters and job seekers has not gone unnoticed as the company has been nominated for categories including E-Business Start-up and a National innovation Award for Mobile and Wireless Technology.

Speaking on behalf of JobJobbed.com Henry Beavis said “Obviously we are both delighted and flattered to have received so many nominations but we must not take our eye off the ball as we still have significant enhancements and improvements to our service scheduled for the coming months ahead”.

He went on to say “While we have enjoyed some specific successes in the UK arena, JobJobbed.com is about to spread its wings internationally, reaching our across the Atlantic to serve the US and Canadian markets before we move into English-speaking locations in the Southern Hemisphere”

With advertisers including Marks and Spencer, Siemens and the Police, we wonder how long it will take the phrase ‘Job-Jobbed’ to become an established part of the nations vocabulary?
