Steitz Secura safety footwear with it's unique Vario® weight dependent heel cushioning System has had quite an impact on the UK market since it's introduction a couple of years
ago, whilst lessening impact on the spine and joints of those people wise (or lucky!) enough to be wearing it.

Now Steitz have come up with yet another innovation to improve the comfort and safety of safety footwear wearers - aluminium toe caps. These combine the strength of
traditional steel toe caps with some of the advantages (but not disadvantages) of the more recently introduced composite/plastic toe caps.

The main advantage is weight reduction which not only means that there is simply less weight to carry around on your feet but that the whole balance of the shoe or boot is shifted more to the centre of the foot, helping to reduce slips and trips.

In addition 'alu inside' toecaps come in a full range of sizes whereas composite toecaps are usually only available in two sizes and are the same shape/size as steel toe caps, whereas the composite toecaps are 7mm thick at the front in order to achieve the strength necessary to conform to EN 344-1. This means that the sole is 'too big' for the upper by a size.

The 'alu inside' range consists of modern, lightweight trainer style boots and shoes - sorry no boring black boots!. - including ESD models. They retain some of the outstanding features of the existing Steitz range e.g.

-The unique Vario® heel cushioning system which makes Steitz Secura the only footwear in the world to be tested and recommended by the AGR (German Back Care Organisation)

-As many as 4 different width fittings. Correctly fitting footwear significantly reduces accidents due to 'slips and trips'

-TPU Balance Soles for outstanding grip and resistance to wear.


as well as incorporating other new features such as

- lightweight low profile carbon fibre scuff resistant bump cap covering the toes.

- soft velour leather combined with functional synthetic material uppers

- breathing SMARTEC AIR® lining

- reflective strips
