The digital video transceiver is designed for use in closed-circuit TV (CCTV) and is especially ideal for transmission of video over one-way optical fiber. It is available in either stand-alone or rack mount card versions. The hot-pluggable design and a wide dynamic range of 20dB provide great convenience for the installation, maintenance and operation in fiber optic applications.
The all-digital video transceiver module, model GFS128, incorporates an LED indicator for monitoring of system operations at any given time. It supports NTSC, PAL and SECAM video formats. This fiber optic digital video transceiver allows for proper system operation even in complex electromagnetic environments and requires no electrical and optical adjustments in field operation. BNC video connection, ST optical connection and DB9 data connection are provided.
