Global hotel booking company seeks accountancy advice

Pressbox (Press Release) - A new global hotel booking service is to be launched by a Greek company, with advice from Prime Chartered Accountants in Coventry.

Prime has been working with myownbooking.com since its inception five years ago, providing accountancy, advising on business structure and set-up, and even arranging for legal advice.

Prime chairman Laurence Moore said the Greek-owned company first contacted the firm in 2002, seeking a UK trading base. They have spent the last five years building the web site, which launches in June.

Artemis Mendrinos, chairman of the company, which is situated in Larissa, the capital city of the Thessaly region, said myownbooking.com will enable owners of independent hotels and apartments to reach holidaymakers in the same way the large international groups are able.

Mr Moore has been to Greece for talks with Mr Mendrinos and has been working alongside him on the project every step of the way. �The momentum is growing and there has been increased and substantial interest in the last few months, following their appearance at various international trade fairs,� he said.

Prime has built up quite a portfolio of e-commerce clients, ranging from a company selling lingerie on-line, also featured in this newsletter, to Europe�s largest provider of five-a-side football.
