Being aware of your baby’s growth can be both exciting and overwhelming, so GROweez set out on a mission to create sleepers that would help parents measure and enjoy their babies growth every day.
“My involvement in my baby’s growth consisted of pediatric visits for percentile ratings I did not understand and change table clothing inventory. I would shelve the outgrown sleepers while restocking with the next size up when the toes got too tight on my baby. No question, every time I did that I would find a sleeper or outfit that my daughter had never worn and would never wear as it had become too small. The greatest gift we can give to parents is the experience I had with my daughter, Taylor and GROWeez. Taylor was wearing a GROWeez sleeper and I was able to roll the cuff down to accommodate her new growth and KNOW how much she had grown,” says MacPherson, Founder, GROWeez Little People Wear.

Along with the unique measurement system and the fashionable styles, GROWeez is challenging traditional baby sizing. GROWeez sleepers have unique sizing which enables parents who are struggling to fit their children into the typical infant sizing to enjoy the sleepers for six months. GROWeez sizing is available in “Mouse” – 1 to 6 months or “Monkey” - 6 to 12 months.
The abilities, strengths and direct experience in the two GROWeez founders has definitely contributed to the GROWeez success. MacPherson’s experience designing and creating clothing enabled her to be creative with fabrics and patterns for the sleepers. Tired of saturated pastels and typical baby prints, MacPherson was on a mission to design and create a stylish and hip infant sleeper that was also functional and economical.
Gerber, a veteran in marketing and production management was thrilled to develop the production and operations of the business. As a working mother who travelled a lot during her infant baby years, Gerber struggled just to keep on top of her babies’ actual sizing. Gerber created the concept of the measurement system for the GROWeez leg enabling parents to be in the moment of growth.
