Additional Knowledge is launching a fixed price computer virus removal service for London businesses.
Fighting virus infections is a complex and time consuming activity. The victim often has little idea of the characteristics or behaviour of the virus they are fighting. A stressful experience akin to wearing a blindfold to eat dinner.
Recently Additional Knowledge received an urgent call from a leading London barrister. The barrister’s Internet Service Provider had barred his computer from connecting to the internet because his machine was infected with a Trojan horse program. A type of virus designed to send out spam and perform denial of service attacks on websites from whom criminal gangs try to extort money.
The barrister was unable to access his email and, due in court to represent a client the following afternoon, he rushed his laptop to Additional Knowledge.
Working late into the night the laptop was completely de-infected and our client was able to retrieve his emails before the court hearing.
