Colin Jackson shares the secrets of ultimate success with business bosses
Business leaders across Wales are being offered the opportunity of learning some of the truly creative techniques that have helped Colin Jackson achieve success.
The Ex-Olympian hurdler and celebrity dancer will share with business leaders some of the creative methods, preparation techniques and inspirational thought processes he used whilst competing and coaching some of Great Britains top Olympic prospects.
Axiom Manufacturing Services are sponsoring the workshop being hosted by Caerphilly Business Forum at The Oasis Centre in Blackwood on 7 June. .
A great believer in thinking outside of the box and constantly challenging yourself even when you are doing well, Colin decided to hone his competitive skills for the commercial business market, through a joint venture known as Red Shoes.
Red Shoes offers creative workshops and innovation sessions for businesses seeking a competitive edge, by showing new ways of tackling existing problems and increasing motivation.
Successful people and organisations recognise the importance of creativity and innovation and use it to their advantage. Thinking creatively is heralded as the key to unlocking new opportunities, new thinking and tackling problems from an entirely different perspective which will significantly add value to the performance of a business

Some people say, if its already working well and youre experiencing a level of success, why change it? I couldnt disagree more, said Mr Jackson. Even the most successful companies need to look at innovative and creative ways of improving and building on existing practices.
Our workshops and interactive sessions blow peoples current thinking out of the water and enable people to look at things with a more flexible attitude. Theyre also a great way to spend an afternoon!
The Colin Jackson approach is strongly endorsed by Shaun Ashmead, Managing Director of Axiom Manufacturing Services - the company sponsoring the event.
Mr Ashmead commented on how Axiom has incorporated innovative techniques and quality improvement models to deliver best practice and excellence in customer service, and added: At Axiom, we believe that innovation is the only route to sustainable competitive advantage. We use the power of creativity to improve all of our business processes and make changes so that people feel that their ideas are supported, valued and recognised. Our culture has grown up with a challenging ethos of something can always be done better, faster, more efficient whilst improving effectiveness. This approach has proved to be one of the key elements in driving the business forward and enabling Axiom through its staff to fulfil its potential.
He continues Were delighted to be associated with such a unique event, which will act as a catalyst for attendees to develop themselves and their organisations.
The half-day workshop will involve a series of interactive sessions focusing on the creative process, demonstrating how thinking outside the box can businesses generate new ideas, identify better solutions to problems and find new opportunities to exploit.
