Pressbox (Press Release) - Bajaj Auto Limited is one of the largest two wheeler manufacturing companies in India catering to the middle segment consumers. Since, its establishment in 1945, Bajaj Auto Limited has emerged as one of the cult brands for the middle segment consumers in India.


Bajaj Auto caters to every segment of the Indian two wheeler industry. It has also tied up with Kawasaki heavy industries in Japan to produce the superb quality motorcycles in India. The Bajaj Kawasaki Eliminator is a creation of this collaboration.


Bajaj is dominant in 125cc+ motorcycle segment with near about 50% of market share. The auto giant is determined to accelerate the growing popularity of 125cc+ motorcycles. Bajaj has further strengthened its stature in the Indian automobile market by the successful launching Platina 125 DTS-Si, which has sold 30,370 units in the October month.



Apart from producing, abundant two wheelers and three wheelers; Bajaj Auto is on course to launch a four-wheeler. The proposed three-way joint venture between Bajaj Auto, Renault SA and Nissan with no formal agreement has been signed.


Bajaj Auto future plans include strong export growth. It is also planning to launch a sport bike in the month of December. Bajaj’s 135cc sporty bike, the third of four products off the XCD platform will be launched in collaboration with technology partner KTM. The Auto major is also working towards developing a low-cost motorcycle to capture the market.
