Automated leap in productivity

Pressbox (Press Release) - Latest generation automated packaging machines are offering up to six times greater productivity when compared to their non-automated counterparts.

“Automated bagging is delivering vast improvements in productivity and flexibility and, therefore, costs compared to non-automated alternatives,” says Clive Pearson of Automated Packaging Systems. “Direct comparisons between the Autobag AB 180 and non-automated packaging systems have shown an increase in productivity of between four and six times.”

Automated Packaging Systems will be exhibiting its full range of packaging systems on stand B40, from the flagship fully automatic AB 180 to the versatile FAS SPrint food packaging model. And Automated Packaging Systems will raise the bar for desk-top baggers when it launches the highly flexible Autobag PS 125 at PPMA.

The newest addition to the Autobag portfolio, the compact and versatile PS 125 desktop bagger, is aimed at smaller operations which rely on flexibility. Having enjoyed overwhelming success in the United States test market, the PS 125 will be unveiled at PPMA and will set the benchmark for compact packaging operations in Europe.

Alongside a full range of Autobag baggers the stand will also feature the state-of-the-art AB 180. Capable of bagging at speeds of up to 80 bags per minute and designed to be simple to use, dependable and operationally flexible, the AB 180 gives maximum uptime and bag packaging productivity. The AB 180 utilises the latest operating systems and the most advanced user touchscreen available making it the most reliable and easiest to use to automatic bagging system of its kind.
