Are the Scots really THAT tight?

Added: (Tue Aug 31 2004)

Pressbox (Press Release) - A Devon based TV company who believe they have knowledge of where the REAL Stone of Destiny is buried, have had to postpone a planned filming trip to Scotland because of a lack of finacial backing from sponsors and corporations in Scotland.

Ross Hemsworth of Galaxi Television, had planned to take a team to Perthshire this week from the world famous Phantom or Fraud Project, and had promised that if the treasure was found, it would be given to SCOTLAND and NOT taken back to England like the "fake" stone which now sits in Edinburgh Castle.

However, the lack of interest from companies in Scotland to back the expedition, has led to the company postponing the trip, and keeping their information "classified".

TV companies had shown a strong interest in showing the programme if the trip was successful, and one well known author said "if they actually find the Stone, it will be the greatest discovery since Tutankamen's tomb"!

Galaxi were working with the Sinclair Clan on the expedition, and their MD Ross Hemsworth had always made it clear that if found, he would present the Stone to HISTORIC SCOTLAND as a national treasure, or to the Sinclair Museum in Caithness.

Ross said today "it is sad that we have had to put the trip back, but it does seem that the old saying saying about the Scots being a bit tight with money, has some substance! But if any Scottish companies or individuals want to prove that wrong, I am still most keen to talk to them and proceed with the trip!"

Ross can be contacted at ross@galaxi.tv
