Press Release - technilink iT Ltd Winchester (UK) 9am 1-5-2007
DigitalMeeting helps solicitors embrace the modern world.
Bonallack and Bishop is a legal firm with a difference. The Wiltshire based solicitors have three offices, in Salisbury, Amesbury and Andover (Hants). Between them, they have shown massive expansion over the last few years and are now using a new business tool to ensure that they stay at the forefront of the legal profession.
technilink iT Ltd, working from Winchester, are the providers of DigitalMeeting. This is an audio/web conferencing system which allows for the showing and sharing of documents over the computer screen. The images and applications on the chairpersons screen can be seen by all other invitees to the conference, whilst the telephone handles the audio communication. When required, the applications can be handed over to the other participants, allowing live, real time collaboration which is proven to speed up the processes of doing business. Bonallack and Bishop have chosen DigitalMeeting as a way to even further improve the way they do business.
Director Tim Bishop said: This new service will enable us to hold virtual meetings simply and cheaply, with full audio and visual input. Im convinced that we will also therefore make immediate savings in time and money.
Richard Butler, CEO of technilink added: We are pleased to partner Bonallack and Bishop on this project, as it shows how a forward thinking company can embrace technology and use it to their advantage. The idea of taking their legal seminars out of the lecture theatre and using the web to broadcast them to an otherwise time-pressured audience is an inspired one.
The internet seminars-or webinars as they have come to be known are bound to be a great success, ranging from a diversity of subjects such as Internet and Distance Selling to Employment Packages.
Tim Bishop- We are really excited about the possibilities DigitalMeeting opens up. We plan to use the service in further expanding our marketing driveThe webinars will be free to attend and take place at 1pm, so even the busiest business owner or manager should be able to spare fifteen minutes at lunchtime. The cost to us of holding the seminars is minimal.
Richard Butler was pleased to add- As Bonallack and Bishop are expanding, the three offices must be able to interact quickly and easily. Tim has realised that travelling between these branches is not the way to do business nowadays. The less time his people spend travelling between offices, the more time they have doing what they are best at- and thats giving his clients a gold-star service.
Taking up this subject, Tim Bishop continued- The third advantage to my firm is in improving communications with our clients, particularly those from overseas or who live and work some distance away from our offices. Using DigitalMeeting we can host conferences with clients, barristers and experts. The system does not require huge investment and its beauty and its simplicity.
The other advantage of this type of remote communication is the reduction in carbon emissions produced by the millions of miles of business travel every year.
Tim Bishop commented on this- DigitalMeeting will allow more regular meetings between our lawyers in the comfort of their own office saving considerable time-all for just pennies-and we save on our carbon footprint!
In conclusion, Richard Butler stated- This is just the type of forward thinking by a forward looking business that does this technology real justice. If Tim is astute a lawyer as he is a businessman, his clients are definitely in very safe hands!
