Pressbox (Press Release) - 4i REVEAL CINEMA ADVERTISER PEARL & DEAN’S NEW BRAND IDENTITY

Convergent media firm 4i Limited, specialists in brand design, market positioning, integrated technology systems and strategic business communications, have unveiled their re-branding of the Pearl & Dean identity.

The leading cinema advertisers, renowned by both the consumer and business community for their music ident and long-standing presence in the industry, commissioned 4i to develop a versatile, brand identity. Key elements of the brief required the new identity to be:

· Contemporary and more instantly recognisable
· Complimentary to the existing on-screen identity
· Consistent through different mediums

“We're delighted with the new Pearl & Dean identity. 4i have succeeded in giving us a more contemporary look whilst keeping the core heritage of the famous Pearl & Dean brand and its close association with film!”
Christine Costello, Managing Director, Pearl and Dean

4i will be implementing the new identity for Pearl & Dean on a variety of consumer and business-to-business communications over the forthcoming months.

“Our objective for Pearl and Dean was to convey a brand identity in a consistent manner which kept an essence of their original filmic heritage. With the use of acute perspective to allude to ‘big screen entertainment’ in the ‘P&D’ logo along with the creation of a bespoke typeface allowed us to make a succinct, contemporary marque that works in all printed and screen-based media”.

Kalina Owczarek, Art Director, 4i Limited
