118 trades donates IT equipment to local communities

Added: (Sat Jul 29 2006)

Daniel Corby, Founder and CEO of 118 trades are investing massively in the business in order to take it to the next stage of its growth, pre a planned floatation on AIM in 2007 / 2008.

Part of this investment is in upgrading existing IT platforms to the very latest technology and the 118 Group want to donate redundant but perfectly good IT equipment to local Schools, Youth Groups or Community Clubs.

118 trades was founded in 2005 and has grown to a multi million £ success story in a short space of time, Daniel Corby, CEO and founder said

“118 trades has grow very quickly and is about to enter the most exciting phase of our expansion yet. As a direct result we are upgrading IT equipment across the business and will shortly have a large volume of perfectly good equipment available to donate to local Schools or Voluntary organisations. This is all part of a community development programme that we want to create, whereby we help the local communities in which we operate. 118 trades are currently based in Chelmsford, with other call centres in Harlow and Salt Lake City, Calcutta.

Any interested groups should e-mail executiveoffice@118trades.com giving an overview of your organisation and what you would do with some free IT equipment. 118 trades will pay for the costs of transportation”
