Pressbox (Press Release) - Daniel Corby, CEO and founder of 118 trades has announced some exciting new growth plans for 118 trades, the UK's leading directory service of tradespeople and businesses with checkable references.

118 trades currently works from offices in Chelmsford, Harlow and Salt Lake City, India, and last week announced plans to open a new state of the art 400 seat call centre in Chelmer Village, Chelmsford.

This will involve a major phase of expansion for 118 trades as it gears itself up to handle renewals of customer contracts which commence in December 2006.

118 trades lists over 40,000 members, of which all have been subjected to vetting procedures from speaking to their existing customers to ensure a quality of work and happy customers.

118 trades is online at www.118trades.com and offers a unique directory offering to tradespeople and businesses wishing to join.

The product offering includes a full advert on-line, a line entry in an A5 directory, which is distributed free of charge to credit checked homes on a county by county basis and inclusion on 0800 247 118 4 - one of the UK's only free to use directory services.

118 trades was founded in 2005 by CEO Daniel Corby, and the group now takes in many other interests, including advertising, new media and telecoms.
