Pressbox (Press Release) - ‘Truffles’ Diary: The Encore’ has been given the official seal of approval by Conservative MP Ann Widdecombe, who has kindly written the foreword to Sheila Collins’ new book.

Widdecombe enjoyed the first two books ‘Truffles’ Diary’ and ‘Truffles’ Diary: One Year On’, she said “I thoroughly enjoyed it. As the owner of a fat tabby cat (Arbuthnot) I reckon this diary is utterly realistic; humans under control, strolls in the garden, plenty of grub...! Anyone who has owned an ageing, fat, spoiled cat will immediately recognise the one in this book.”

Sheila Collins will be signing copies of her three books at the National Cat show in London on 8 December 2007, she said “We have invited Ann Widdecombe to our stand, it would be marvellous if she could attend and sign a few copies, I am extremely grateful to her for giving up her precious time to write a few words for my books as she has supported all three titles.”

Sheila’s spokesperson Chris Cowlin said “Sheila has sold more books than we expected and we are delighted to publish her third book, she has had a lot of very nice reviews and comments about her work and people keep demanding she writes more. “Sheila has many fans both locally and nationally, she signs books regularly at Kingsley Village Shopping Centre in Cornwall and the cat shows in Birmingham and London.”
