‘Ceci n’est pas un livre’

Dutch by Design, the web-based outlet for the best in contemporary interior accessories from the Netherlands has added a new product to its range: Nicole Van Schouwenburg’s highly innovative and original Selfshelf book shelf.

The Selfshelf is a shelf with the appearance of a book. Invisibly attached to the wall with the included bracket, it can support a maximum weight of 4 kg. The effect is amazing, your stack of books seems to be mysteriously floating in the air. On the front of the cover features the text ‘Ceci n’est pas un livre’ (translation ‘this is not a book’)
