San Diego, California. February 15, 2012 Slated as the Dynamic Duo, Tocayo and Exist1981 have their artwork displayed now through March 2nd. Their works are on exhibit at Subtext Gallery in San Diego, California, located in the heart of the Little Italy arts district.
Both of these featured artists have spent about a decade creating art in Southern California, often on outside venues. Their opening reception was an amazing evening with music by DJ Will Redd and a live performance by Kellen Mallow. However, if the awesome music wasn’t enough to excite attendees, the food probably did it! El Camino provided food that was a work of art in itself.
On the subject of El Camino, a stunning neon work of art by Tocayo is displayed across from the restaurant. Be sure to check it out next time you’re in the neighborhood.
Subtext Gallery is host to many of the hottest art shows in Southern California. Some of the past artists featured include Chris Ryniak, Jolby, and Mark Murphy. Subtext is hailed for hosting amazing exhibitions and unforgettably fun events.
Wheatpaste.com’s purpose is to raise awareness of the underground movement of talented artists who tag buildings. Such artists often use a homemade glue called “wheat paste,” hence the company’s name.
The main thrust of Wheatpaste.com is to make the art of the daring underground artists available to the public on canvas wall art, stickable posters, wall art stickers, giant wall decals, and much more.
Perhaps the most important function of Wheapaste.com is to create a connection between these talented artists and art buyers. The independent community of creative entrepreneurs is strengthened by the work.
The type of innovative art that’s available at Wheapaste.com is highly original and will add a unique flair to any home or office.
Wheapaste.com is proud to support the Dynamic Duo, Tocayo and Exist1981, exhibiting at Subtext Gallery now through March 2nd, 2012.
