The Seven Stones Competition - Judging Panel Announced

Added: (Wed Oct 07 2009)

The judging panel for the greatest ever competition to hit children's literature has been announced. The seven judges on the panel of The Seven Stones Competition comprise:

James Bell - Renaissance Learning
Sarah Freeman - Yorkshire Post
Sarah Harris - Daily Mail
Steve Hird - School Library Association
Martin Kromer - Federation of Children's Book Groups
Ian McNeilly - National Association for the Teaching of English
Katherine Woodfine - The Booktrust

Curled up in an armchair with a favourite book, what child hasn't dreamt of becoming part of a fantasy world? For one lucky young reader, that dream will soon be a reality.

Readers of The Seven Stones (C.P. Goy), write in 100 words or less who their favourite character was, and why they liked them. The winner, to be chosen by the panel above, will become a character in the third book in the Terry, the Torus and the Tumblestones series, entitled The Guardian of the Past.

Entries are administered by schools and libraries, and full details are available on the series website www.terry-torus-tumblestones.co.uk
