PRESS RELEASE 24 NOVEMBER 2003

THE GUILD OF EROTIC ARTISTS

Beaumont Hall Studios are the home of The Guild of Erotic Artists. The Studio is billed as the only interactive erotic art studio in the U.K. Housed in a completely renovated 15th Century barn in the rural Hertfordshire countryside, the promotion of both new and established artists is facilitated through the art gallery at Beaumont Hall Studios.

The Guild is a non-profit organisation, supported by annual fees from its members. The artists who support our efforts dedicate themselves both financially and as volunteers enabling the Guild to present an impressive number of activities on a limited budget.
The work represented ranges from unknown artists to classic images by Paul John Ballard, Ray Leaning, Ken Clarke, Tony Jackson, Ronald Cameron and more. The Guild's success has exceeded expectations in providing a place to expand the commercial value and exposure of erotic art.

The Guild hosts social events throughout the year to raise funds and to provide a sense of community for supporters of erotic art. An example is the monthly Erotic Event Days which promotes and exhibits erotic art in a very popular party setting and encourages members of the public to join in and try their hand at artwork themselves. It raises funds to support the Guild's activities at the same time. The Studios provides artists with a social environment in which to network, exhibit and store their work in secure premises and most importantly, the opportunity to buy and sell works. Parties, Auctions, Stage Sets are all part of the planned events. The Guild also promotes itself at such exhibitions as Erotica, Erotique, Skin Two and private exhibitions around the country.

A PERMANENT GALLERY OF EROTIC ART
One of The Guild's goals was to establish a permanent Erotic Art exhibition that will display a stimulating range of work in a setting suitable to the importance it deserves. This goal has been realised in Beaumont Hall Studios at St Albans. The achievement of this goal required the support of all who have an interest in erotic art, whether for personal satisfaction or to promote tolerance and freedom of expression. With continued support the Guild will promote a deeper, healthier and more tolerant appreciation of human sexuality by opening an exhibition of erotic art that will never close: Beaumont Hall Studios.

WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP
Continued support from individuals and companies is crucial to The Guild's survival and continued growth. Visible community support will greatly aid our members in attracting corporate support. Every pound contributed and new membership will ensure the future protection of the right to exhibit and view whatever art one chooses.
To keep moving forward and to be able to commission its own exhibitions, some of which will tour nationally and internationally, the Studio urgently needs sponsorship. Supporting its mission will be of benefit to those companies wishing to look to the future.
