TRAUM brings real rap back to the East!
Masta Mix Records is a New York based Record Company focused on reviving original Hip-Hop music. Masta Mix Records was founded by Far Rockaway Queens resident Traum. Traum Has released several recordings this year alone using a network of independent distribution companies, but soon realized the industry was flooded with a bunch of non-rhyming Associates of other rappers. Too many deals were given out to mediocre artist because of their affiliation with a known artist. So Traum hustled up $20,000 and started Masta Mix Records to give rap fans and artist an alternative to the watered down music the get from the majors. After 10 years of overcoming financial and artistic hurdle’s the first bomb in the war on wack rappers has dropped. The debut full length CD is a compilation album titled “NATURAL BORN KILLAS VOL.1” featuring major recording artist such as: Cormega, Nashawn, Half-A -Mill, Screwball, Killah Shah, Wu-Tangs Wundah Woman as well as beats and rhymes by Traum. The first single off of Natural Born Killas Vol. 1 was produced by Traum called “Extreme Wit 16” featuring: Cormega. Traum also produced most of the album in his studio Masta Labs Studios. Natural Born Killas Vol. 1 is distributed by (SOH) and can be purchased in most major Music stores around the country as well as his website www.mastamix.com. Natural Born Killas Vol.1 is already a top selling compilation at amazon.com. Natural Born Killas Vol. 2.0 is due out the winter of 05. Traum is also in the studio working on his debut solo album “Mad Dreams” due out fall of 05 and he promises it will be the definition of hardcore Hip-Hop.
