SpaceportJobs.com set to become global space employment center

NEW YORK — Spaceportjobs.com promises to become the world's best source of all jobs related to space tourism.
The recent announcement by Virgin Galactic's Sir Richard Branson that the company is teaming up with New Mexico to build the world's first space tourism spaceport will lead to the hiring of thousands of workers to make the facility a reality. Virgin expects to have flights departing the $225 million facility by late 2008 or early 2009.
The SpaceportJobs.com Web site will have its own "launch" in early 2006. On it, space-careerseekers will learn about the many varieties of jobs available to them; get career counseling; search for the positions that best suit them; and talk to experts who have worked in the field.
