Added: (Tue Jul 11 2006)

Pressbox (Press Release) - Legend Press has announced an exclusive launch party for the hotly-anticipated novel Salt & Honey by Candi Miller to take place at the Africa Centre on the 27th July.

The novel, set in southern Africa during Apartheid and depicting a young girl displaced from her Kalahari desert-tribe, has been featured in The Bookseller and has been subject to widespread film, translation, media and buyer interest. With the publication date approaching, Salt & Honey is expected to be a major literary hit.

The launch event will start from 6.30pm and guests will be treated to a champagne reception, along with the chance to pick up a signed copy of the novel, in the picturesque 18th Century hall at the historic centre in Covent Garden.

Tom Chalmers, Managing Director of Legend Press, commented: “We were delighted to secure the Africa Centre for this milestone event. The novel promises to do extremely well and there is no better venue to introduce this new voice in fiction and her powerful and authentic story that’s set to make such a mark. It promises to be a fantastic evening.”

Please note that places are limited and those interesting in attending must RSVP to info@legendpress.co.uk as soon as possible.
