SAVED BY AN ANGEL: ARTIST¡¦S LIFE-CHANGING EXPERIENCE
INSPIRES ILLUSTRATED STORYBOOK FOR CHILDREN

Studio City, CA, September 10, 2003 ¡V Deanna Brishere is making available at no charge an illustrated inspirational storybook. She says she was inspired to write and illustrate it after her near fatal incident, in which she is convinced that she was saved by an angel.

The incident occurred when two cars collided and a pickup truck crashed into the sidewalk at the spot she would have been had she not heeded a premonition of great foreboding. The book she wrote and illustrated as a result, The Mishaps of Pinjie, Stinjie and Lope, is available online at www.brishere.com.

¡§This book was a gift of inspiration to me, and I wanted to pass the story along to others,¡¨ Deanna Brishere, a graphic artist and illustrator, says. ¡§I wanted to share this story with everyone.¡¨

The story is about two young orphans, Pinjie and Stinjie, who have come to stay with their Aunt and Uncle Gloverson at the Gloverson¡¦s Country Inn. Feeling sad and lost without her parents, Pinjie makes a special birthday wish. Soon after, two heavenly angels appear with a special gift for the young girl. Yet, before she will be able to receive the gift, she must first begin to believe in the angels.

In the accident several years ago, Brishere says she was saved by an angel when ¡§¡Kan overwhelming feeling of fear overcame me. I felt a sense of being overpowered by someone much stronger than I. I felt someone there, but no person was there,¡¨ she says. She decided against walking on the sidewalk, and was walking adjacent to the sidewalk when the terrible accident occurred.

¡§The entire moment seemed surreal, as I would have been in that exact spot had I walked on the sidewalk,¡¨ she says. ¡§I feel as though I would not be here today if it weren¡¦t for that moment of divine intervention.¡¨

Now she says, ¡§I have grown in faith, and I do believe in angels, for I feel truly blessed to be here¡Xwriting, drawing and sharing my story with you.¡¨

The book is available for free at www.brishere.com. You can write to Deanna Brishere at 3940 Laurel Canyon Blvd. #965, Studio City, CA 91604.
