Pressbox (Press Release) -
Preacher Stone is excited for their bass player of 3 years, JOSH SANDERS, who recently got his golden ticket to compete on American Idol!
Preacher Stone's former bass player Josh Sanders (josh had to leave the band to compete on the show) won his golden ticket to compete on American Idol for their 2012 Season. He tried out in Charleston and Savannah and sang his way to Hollywood! For the last two years, Preacher Stone song writers Marty Hill and Ronnie Riddle have been encouraging Josh to compete on the show along with his family & friends. "We love having Josh play bass in the band and sing background vocals for us, but he is so talented we wanted him to at least give it a shot and try out" says Preacher Stone's Marty Hill.
Josh has been playing with the band Preacher Stone since they recorded their first CD in 2009 and was able to tour with them on Lynyrd Skynyrd's Simple Man Cruise in 2011 and with many legendary bands on The Rock Legends Cruise in 2011. We hate to see him leave the band but at the same time we are thrilled for him and wish him much luck on the show!
