Added: (Sat Aug 02 2008)

Pressbox (Press Release) - Plooka.com is the new kid on the block! A skiing / snowboarding website that has a massive amount of passion for the mountains, and bundles of energy and drive when it comes to making a statement on the net! Already the site is starting to take off and some great contributions from members is generating some great talking points!

The site features Funny Skiing Videos, Funny stories, and plenty of jokes. However there are also some great inspirational videos on there, hundreds of tips, advice, and insights! There are also hundreds of webcams linked up to ski resorts, and weather reports are starting to pour in. Plus the Blog is generating a core readership as Plooka talks about it's mission to take over the Skiing world. Finally the Diary of a Seasonaire, exclusive to the site, threatens to cause controversy when it starts for the 2008/2009 ski season.

However it's the Seasonaire stories that may prove to be the greatest talking point on this site. When one of the new members 'the Captain' posted his story 'To die For' on the sites Forum it became an instant hit and got Plooka thinking. It was quickly transferred to the main site for all to read. Telling the story of 'the Captain' on a fateful day in Chamonix riding off piste he succumbed to a danger all snowboarders fear! He got carried away with his IPOD blasting and the powder all around him a wrong turn and it was nearly all over! Read it on the website to find out more.

The site is still new, it's still a bit rough round the edges, and the look changes weekly, however things are building up, the membership is growing, and the content is cool!

So checkout Plooka.com a website with the mantra 'We love to get on the Piste!' if you do then join us!
