Pressbox (Press Release) - Paradox calling is a controversial novel by new Author Michael Rogers. Set against a background of upheaval centreing on a families migration from England to Australia it follows the exploits of Harry an angry young man who hates every one and everything.
Paradoxically he is drawn into the church where he learns much about life and himself as he trains for priesthood in a residential college.
Here he comes up against things one would never expect to find in a theological college and he doesn't hold back on what he feels and thinks about the church, the establishment running it and the way it trains it ordinands.
Littered with crudely described scenes and fould language the book is also humerous and will at times move the reader but it is not for the faint hearted nor for those who are prudish when it comes to matters concerning the church.
