Pressbox (Press Release) -
Outdoorkit are pleased to confirm their stocking of three new Merrell boots to combat the cold and wet conditions of Autumn and Winter.
The Merrell Snowmotion 6 Waterproof is designed by Merrell for use in snowy weather, with the technology and the quality necessary to keep feet warm and dry. A double density TPU waterproof shell and waterproof construction work together to keep snow and water out. Keeping warm is guaranteed, with both Polartec 200 and Primaloft 200 - also, the aegis insulation along with a coldproof ortholite insulating footbed ensure your feet are dry and toasty. The Vibram sole and compression moulded eva footframe are added for unreal stability - a real hardworking boot for kicking around in the sleet.
The stunning Merrell Outbound Mid Light GTX Boot is a serious hiking boot, perfect for trails up rocky mountain or simply for looking swish around town. Unstoppable waterproof & breathable Gore-Tex ensures the boots will be hard-wearing and keep out unwanted moisture, while working to eradicate wetness caused inside the boot. Technical features are abundant with a reinforced silicon instep, floating stiffner plate in the midsole of the shoe and abrasion resistant TPU toe and heel bumper, rendering the boot highly durable. Adding a shock-absorbing Vibram sole as the final touch, the Merrell Outbound Mids are one of the best looking, most fail-safe boots of the season.
Merrell's Moab Mid GTX XCR Shoe is a twist on an old favourite. Thanks to the Gore-Tex XCR waterproofing system, they retain high levels of waterproof ability and breathability. The breathable mesh in the upper alternates with waterproof nubuck leather and the mesh bellows tongue to dramatically enhance ventilation. A Nylon 6.6 Injection Molded Arch Shank and Compression Molded EVA Footframe work with the Vibram sole to complete the comfortable wear and durability this shoe brings.
