The online magazine johnproblem.com reached its first anniversary this month. At a celebratory dinner, Editor John Problem said that, despite the usual bugbears of technical breakdown and late submission of copy, the magazine was flourishing and recorded its highest readership this month. 'It seems our mix of satire and fiction and straight reporting is a successful one,' he observed. 'It's an odd melange but then it allows readers to pick and choose what interests them - and that is the name of the game on the web.'
