Novel Ideas?

Added: (Fri May 17 2002)

Pressbox (Press Release) - They say that everyone has a novel in them and now, with the launch of the free novel writing workshop from WriteLink there's no excuse for not getting those ideas down on paper and into print.

This brand new workshop is split into six lessons delivered by weekly email and covers everything the budding novelist needs to know about knocking their blockbuster into shape.

There's advice on plotting, characterisation, setting and research. How to format your manuscript, write a synopsis, outline and cover letter and where to find agents and publishers.

If that wasn't enough, each lesson includes a selection of web links to further information and resources.

The workshop has been written by Liz Ashworth, a novelist and short story writer living and working in Wales who has books published by Parthian Books.

The free status of the course is due entirely to sponsorship support from www.WriteSun.co.uk holidays, well known for their writing courses on the sun-drenched island of Lanzarote.

Novel ideas joins the other free writing workshops, Telling Tales, short story writing and Rhyme & Reason, poetry, details of which can be found at www.writebytes.co.uk the on-line writing school of www.writelink.co.uk one of the UK's premier writers resources websites.
