New shows for Furthur as web site is re-launched!

Pressbox (Press Release) - New March 2002 gig dates!

Furthur have two Newcastle shows lined up in March to coincide with the launch of their new, improved web site, www.furthur.co.uk. The first show takes place on Saturday 9th March at The Cluny in Byker with Blue Apple Boy as support. This should give local star-spotters great value for money as Blue Apple Boy (formerly Sleepy People) will feature ex-Ultrasound Tiny Woods on vocals. Tickets are £3 and doors open 7.30pm.

Furthur then go on to present their Full Moon Freakout show on Thursday 28th down at The Head of Steam, Newcastle. This should see the band in fine form with some special guest appearances thrown into the lunar-led proceedings. Anything could happen and probably will!

As well as containing essential Furthur credentials, the new web site, www.furthur.co.uk boasts a selection of weird and wonderful amusements such as the Full Moon Indicator and the Test Your Own Psychic Abilities page. There is a unique and engaging band diary which is updated reguarly along with a popular chat room and message board feature. MP3s are available for download and you can even upload your own picture gallery to share with fellow Furthur fans.
